This is a spoken word poem recited by two people in a competition in Texas. I chose it because I felt it was the perfect example of a spoken word poem, it is interesting as well as real things the people reciting it as well as many others have to face. Also by the end of the poem you come out with a different outlook than you may have had before.

ReplyDeleteThis was excellent, I did a duet piece with a friend once it was a lot of fun to do especially when you just pick a subject and write we don't know what each other wrote but it went together quite well.
